3v to 5v rechargeable battery power supply system for use with the basic stamp.

The power supply is based around a MAX756 chip from Maxim that steps up the power from two AA 1.2 volt batteries to 5 volts.  This can be shutdown by the basic stamp and automatically started up from a switch (eg tilt switch). The battery recharger is a simple circuit, based around a simple ni-cad charger that delivers a constant amperage. The charging time is controlled by the basic stamp using 'Negative Delta Voltage', which means when the stamp senses a drop in the current it switches off the charging process. The basic stamp will also stop the charging process after approximately 14 hours.

NOTE: These scripts and circuit designs have not been completely tested and were not working in the first prototype of the objects. They should be seen as being at an 'alpha' stage of development. The MAX756 only seems to be handling 50mA of power.
