Introduction to Flexibility

Within this chunk we will consider what constitutes flexibility and some tools that can be used to help achieve our vision of flexibility.

There are probably as many definitions of flexible learning as there are teachers, learners, employers and managers!

Flexibility to you might mean options for learners about where, when, how or what they learn. It might mean using computer based or online courses, or might be workbooks, or learners developing tasks related directly to the workplace. Achieving all of these kinds of flexibility would be a large undertaking and certainly would pose some administrative challenges!
