Overview of tools available

This page will include examples of diagrams with rollovers, interactive crossword puzzles, reminder of video segments, examples of audio files, drag and drop activities.

Activity - to choose one tool and plan how it could be used to support the learning experience for their students. 

There are a wide variety of tools available to you to make learning more engaging, interactive and collaborative.

Some of these tools are built into WebCT, some can be inserted into webpages you create, whilst others may operate over the internet.

Toolboxes typically combine a range of these types of exercises addressing a number of units of competency {link}

Crosswords

In a matter of minutes you can put together a crossword either for printing out, or placing on a webpage. EclipseCrossword is a free software tool that helps you with laying out the crossword after you prepare the list of words and clues.
