New systems of working VET business realities - I wonder what strong skill ecosystem in the creative industries in Hobart would look like. I feel there is a srong informal ecosystem that does change over time but this ecosystem is more not focus on some the core skill area needed for succuess like business skills. This is area where we can do alot more work.
Work based learning and communities of practice - This is a great article about the pro and con of work based learning. One of the thing that I'm taking away from the article is the idea of research projects during work placements. In the case of long term intership style projects I can see this working well.
