Here are the results of some initial searching

What should be included:
PIM - calendar to-do memo contacts
Online web browsing
Adobe Reader for pdf
Windows Media Player
Word and Excel apps
picture viewer for native jpg files
file management so can move files to and from expansion cards

Not sure if included but should be:
image viewing and resizing - jpg gif png -
mp3 player if capable

What also is available:
Offline web browsing - iSilo is a possibility
email - through GPRS and sync access
