This course is aimed at complementing the participants’ previous specialist education and training experience. It enables the participant to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to implement and manage quality elearning educational programs within their organisation. The course is aimed at participants wanting to undertake a high quality, practical and flexible elearning course that focuses on designing, evaluating, implementing, managing and delivering elearning educational programs in higher, vocational, and school and training environments. This course focuses on important issues relating to the educationalist’s conception of elearning, the elearning environment, the planning of elearning programs, the development of elearning teaching strategies and pedagogical principles, and student experiences and expectations of elearning.
Total cost $5000 AUD (equates to $1250 AUD per subject, payable on enrolment of each subject)
The course is delivered online giving the participant essential experience as an online student. Adult learning principles have been incorporated into the course design. Participants are given opportunities to formulate ideas and understandings of a topic. They engage in active learning, widening their own viewpoints and appreciating different perspectives. Their grasp of concepts is enhanced through debate and sharing of ideas and resources with other participants.
