“Practical, relevant, skills and knowledge for the post compulsory education sector.”The program offers students specific training and qualifications in the industrial, enterprise and community education and vocational training fields. Students entering this program are a mix of: corporate enterprise, industry and public sector trainers and skilled practitioners; TAFE teachers; training consultants; training resource developers; private training providers and school teachers. They also include international educators, trainers and practitioners. The choice of subjects available and their design allow students to build on existing skills and to develop expertise in particular areas of the field. There is an emphasis on practical application of theory including opportunities to relate assessment tasks to workplace needs, visits to education and training sites, analysis and development of practical examples and a workplace based practicum. Flexible delivery options provide opportunities for self paced study focused around workplace based projects. The emoderation/online facilitation module is delivered entirely online and is recognised for credit against the subjects: Major or Minor Workplace Project in the Grad Cert/Diploma.In addition, customised Graduate Certificates can be developed for enterprise or group specific needs and delivered in-house.
