On the left hand side of the page you will see an everchanging list of articles and items about Using Audio in Education. This is sourced from a range of websites and you can contribute to it also. We will have a short session on del.icio.us as a group that will show you how.
Also if you have a blog or want to set one up we can add that too so you can share your thinking and journey with the group.
At the base of the page there are some links to 'how-to', reference and tools that are relevant. These will always be here!
Essentially this is a dynamic resource - it can and will change as we progress and discover new ideas and material. If you want to get started straight away contributing the resources you track down on the web, read this tutorial (http://www.beelerspace.com/index.php?p=890) about del.icio.us and use the tag of 'edaudio'.
This blog will contain information about using Audio in Education - across a wide range of applications, eg podcasting, embedded audio, student generated audio, and audio as alternatives to text. It is designed to support a staff development program which will cast its net wider across flexible and tech supported learning.
for some reason the middle column at the bottom of the page wants to sit lower than its companions to the left and right.
this is the next version.
Update - now has scroll bars on the divs to make the underpinnign/ foundation visible on a normal monitor.
feed jumbler version, this one loads too slowly
iframe suprglunice, and will need some css fiddling. also links open in the same window, which isn't great inside an iframe. Looks pretty though.
using a mix of feed2js and suprglu, 2 column layout. starting point
in some ways I am coming back to this, the only thing holding me back is the inability (as far as I can figure out) to add the source information about individual posts.
3 column version, delicious column, edna column, suprglu column
one issue with this is the space for the teacher/student blog information to be included. could get around it by incorporating edna into the suprglu column too.
you could have it set up so that the students were commenting on the class blog, rather than having to set up and maintain their own blog
And then again you might have a discussion board thing happening in webct which would then be the location for the interaction.
Question - can you add the feeds to the page on which the discussion is introduced within webct, I am kind of averse to making it a linear thing in webct content module or whatever they are called now.
and another post.
These posts will go into the teacher+student side of the feedbook
this will be the first entry that should come through on the suprglu site from the new weblog.
